My God, folks....Politicians and their families are (most of them anyway) human beings. Ask yourself...How would YOU react if someone kept asking the same inane question over and over and over and over...We may like to "parse" out those comments we don't like, but seems as if, once again, folks on both sides of the fence make little mistakes in decorum. Find an issue that's relevant, fer cryin out loud...

The point Randy is making is the double standard between Libs condemnation of a Bush daughter for sticking her tongue out at reporters and the justification of the Kerry wife verbally assaulting a reporter.

Let's do some simple analysis here. Who is expected to be more mature? More controlled? More responsible in their actions? A child or a full grown woman? Understanding that people are human, even when elected to public office, which action is farther across the line of civility -- sticking out your tongue or telling a reporter to "shove it?"

Rabid Dubya Haters unite, spin this one quietly off into oblivion and make yourselves feel warm and fuzzy about this fall's vote.....

Hey, thanks for caring, it's touching to know someone I've never met cares so much about what I post on rennlist to go dig up some post from a month ago, be proud of the way you spend your time. Also, be proud of your awesome english (and the fact that you can't read, because nowhere in my original post did I bash the poster, only the post itself). Your grammar is impeccable, nearly as good as a junior college student who's almost done with his ESL classes.

A couple of things. Numero uno would be that Jenna Bush is hardly a "child", unless you mean a 22 y.o. who is staring down a life where working for a living will never be remotely necessary. Secondly, where is all of the criticism of her? I've only read *about the criticism* here on this board, I've never actually seen it in print. Just for the record, I thought that the "tongue out" deal was funny, not offensive in the least. People are just so desparate to find a molehill to stick their flag in, come on, there are real issues to discuss.

I agree that Kerry's wife is not a very appealing personality, I wish that she was, but that's the way it goes. Most of our First Ladies have seemed nice, who knows what they are really like? Their staff does, that's who.

I've experienced my share of Kerry haters since I put his bumper sticker on my car. The other night I was parking in front of a restaurant and a lightly lubricated group was watching from a few feet away.

I stepped out and winked, "I'm ready for you". (It was 3 young-ish couples). Two couples high-tailed it quickly, the third tried to make stupid-ass small talk w/ me about the car. WTF is this all this crap about the Bush girls working or not working? Why do you guys even give a flying fuch about that? And, more importantly, how do you know what the financial plans are for them? Do you know for a fact the the Prez and Mrs are gonna bankroll these kids lives. What I meant to say is that they are staring down a life of utter failure in all of their endeavors, with each meltdown immediately followed by a family friend willing to bankroll the next one just to get access to the larger Bush family. Kind of like uncle Niel and Daddy.
