Growing conservative angst...

Sheesh... scanning the threads in the OT forum these days is like scanning the tabloid headlines in a supermarket line-up. The former epithets and scandal-mongering in the guise of "news" hold about as much interest and promise as the latter. In fact he only real difference between the two is that the whipping boys here are the dems rather than some poor stars and/or starlets.

I see this spamming as being indicative of growing conservative angst - the rightists can smell the blood that's coming in November and are running scared.

Whattya think?

Hee hee - great post.

You complain about "epithets and scandal mongering" and say that the dems are "whipping boys."

Then you go on to call the Republicans "rightists" and say they are running scared because there is "blood coming in November."

Are you part of the problem, or the solution?

Theres certainly a lot of GOP news popping up all over the OT forums lately, mostly due to SteveStromberg looks like. Yes, its annoying, and most of it is banter and speculation from uncredited news sites. Blah

lol, we're all part of the "problem" I guess. But at least the cure is no worse than the disease.

It's just that the preponderance (or maybe it's just the tenacity) of the rightist sect here (in the sense of "rightist" being a (bit of a play on words) smaller sub-set of Republican) is a bit overwhelming.

Toss out a liberal thought or perspective - you'd better learn to duck! Rightist perspectives elicit group hugs.

Seems like the silent majority is changing its political stripe...

lol BG.

Hey Purry, I'm just pulling your chain. I agree that it's gotten so hot in here that it's really a caricature of debate at this point. I try to avoid getting into it, but sometimes it's just too hard to resist. This board is as addictive as any drug...

Hey, now that's a neat trick!

Did ya see that? He completely washed his hands without even bothering to get them dirty!

I'm going to have to remember that trick. Saves a whole lot of keystrokes and eliminates all that tedious brain-work.

(wink, nudge, nudge)

and I'll bet he even speaks with a french accent.

So, of course anything flowing from such a source holds no relevance to us God fearing types...

can't help ya with a lid, but I've gotta tab I can lay on ya man...

(it's fun coming into these threads late and batting clean-up)

BTW - I think you're trying to hide your age with that "hook me up" line. That's just not with-it man!
