Sapphire and tonic, squeeze lime but don't put it in the glass.

Ask me tomorrow what I drank tonight. Hopefully I will know.
We are having a big party for a good buddy that is leaving next week. |

Had a "TNT" last night. Kind of like a Long Island Iced tea - very nice. And gets the job done quickly.

I thought you needed three coffee beans for the good luck.
The other night I had a helluva good rocks Margarita at Fred's in Pacific Beach (San Diego). |

Makers Mark isnt bad at all. Have you ever had the Evan Williams 10yr Single Barrel? Honestly, the best bourbon on the planet. Its won the 'Boubon of the Year' award the last 3 years straight. No other label has ever won it consecutively. |
EDIT -- this is Overpaid Slacker, logging on from RoninLB's pad today...
Shuie -- A fellow bourbon man. THAT's why we have these boards. I don't *mix* the bourbon with anything, just drink some soda water behind it to keep hydrated. :D I've had the Evan Williams and really like it. Trouble is, up here in the North, it's tough to find ginmills that carry a good selection of bourbons. My favorites, in no particular order, are Basil Hayden (buttery goodness), Blantons (whoof -- sit down and stay seated if you're drinking this stuff) and Woodford Reserve. Jefferson Reserve is OK too, but usually I start with one of the foregoing and switch back to Maker's after 2 or so. On another thread (something to do with Media Bias in the title) I posted a picture of a football, dipped in Maker's Mark wax and dedicated to me by the president of Maker's Mark. No *****, I've had liquor reps near where I live come up to me and say I've increased MM consumption by 50%... dunno whether that's good or bad... Another fave in the real heat is something vodka based (Citron lately) in a pint of unsweetened iced tea. MMmmmmmmmm. That's what I was drinking pre-dinner today in the heat and humidity here on the south shore. At dinner (steak, naturally) I was back home in Maker's country. JP |

The good doctor has time to log on to the Internet ... not a lot of "sick" folks in the East Bay tonight. I shoulda skipped law school and done the medicine thing ... but the coin came up "heads".

I just like a little Grain Alchol and rain water.....
Baring that well maybe a 750 of Bookers might do.....Old Weller 107 is a good lite drink... for those occasions that I want to remember what I did. |
Out of single malt. Chivas with a little water.

I'm leaving now for a week in Hawaii with my family. Adios Snapple. When I arrive I'll have a wickedly cold Grey Goose martini with ice crystals floating on the top and a pair of olives waiting for me at the bottom!
Aloha friends! |
I like becoming cosmic on tequilla.

A few fingers of Corralejo reposado with a Pacifico chaser, perfect for a warm Southern California evening. Cheers!
