Just watched an MGB go up
 

Was sitting here at my desk in Cambridge MA (just outside the lechemere T-station, down the street from the museum of science for those in the know) and suddenly there was a HUGE amount of smoke going up outside the window (I'm on the 5th floor). So I stand up to get a better look, and here comes a FLAMING MGB! Rolling at maybe 5mph, it hits a little concrete island in the intersection outside of my building and comes to a stop. I'm 5 floors up, but only about 45 feet as the crow flies from this car. So everyone in my office stood in the windows and watched the blazing inferno....WOW! It was really something. WAY more exciting than the program I was developing. Nobody hurt, BTW.

Someone must've flipped one of the Lucas 3-position switches from "Off' through "Smoulder" all the way to "Ignite."
