The Tick
 

On a whim I picked up The Tick (starring Patrick Warburton as the title character) on DVD. All 9 episodes that aired (and possibly the only ones made?), before the series was cancelled.

The only possible reason that this series was cancelled was that it was too funny to be on TV.

Kinda like Family Guy?

Family Guy at least had a run of two seasons or so. The Wild Blue Yonder had only 9 episodes. Nine!!! Even with Captain Liberty's outfit, which virtually guaranteed the male 12-18 viewing demographic.

i loved that show. it went away pretty fast.

I think "Family Guy" is coming back...

I loved "The Tick". For a comedy, it was a bit too cereberal. Folks like things "dumbed down".

The tick was hilarious. I heard that family guy did get picked up for another season...I can't wait.

I loved the Tick cartoon too. Can you buy it anywhere?

The Tick was great. Ahead of its time, just like South Park - "Jesus vs. Santa" is still a side-splitter.

I just got a DVD of Aqua Teen Hunger Force -- that *****'s hilarious.

I'm lookin' for the ATHF box set and the Sealab 2021 also... funniest shows ever

FAMILY GUY is coming back to Fox in 2005 with new episodes. ATHF and Sealab are two of my favorite shows. Ever.
