Central Coast California (What to See?)
I am going up North next month and wanted to see if you guys have any suggestions of what is in the area or what to do? I am planning on seeing Hearst Castle but I wanted to be more familiar with the area before hand.

Solvang...A Dannish villiage about 50 miles North of Santa Barbara. U can visit Salvatore, thats where he has his shop where he makes his Espresso makers. Also stop in at the Santa Barbara Winery off Anacapa street (beachside) in SB. They have a tasting room. Take a little time and stop in SB for lunch
San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay (the rock)...about 50 miles S of the Hearst Castle. Pismo Beach 12 miles S of San Luis...SL is a Nice place to stop for the night.... next day head on up to Cambria and the Hearst. The drive N on route 1 from Morro Bay is quiet scenic. along the ocean.
