X Games - Did any pelicans go?

I took my 5 year old. It's amazing what these guys are doing these days. They had this absolutely humongous ramp that launched skateboarders like a rocket - when you first looked at it, it seemed impossible for anyone to survive!

Anyone else go yesterday?

I missed the X games because we have been unpacking all week. However I did get to the US Open and my 8 yr old was stoked to watch the tricks the guys were doing in the soul bowl. This was the first time he got a really good close look. Of course when he got home he was looking for a ramp!

Did anyone make it on the X-game ramp? I saw TV coverage of guys trying to make it but none were successful that they showed. Big waves are one thing, but a 6 story ramp...ouch!

i've been recording it on the tube.......
makes me want to build a ramp bike, screw flatland.......i want to start jumping again, although some of the kids that are half my age at chengaworld will make me look like a novice LOL i can still do tailwhip air's over a box, and always rocked at lip tricks.

i heard a rumor somewhere that they will be introducing some form of bmx into the real olympics........

and who makes good strong street frames nowadays? i want something very light.....my old school gt pro freestyle tour flexes on me just enought to irritate me, so i think it's time to upgrade from the 80's

I always wondered how many broken bones it takes to learn how to do a back flip on a bike.
