My friend brought a VCD over last night of a pilot directed by Ben Stiller in 1999 called
Heat Vision and Jack . It was not picked up by the networks but has all the makings of a cult classic.
"Jack Black stars as Jack Austin, an astronaut on the run from NASA after a solar accident makes him the smartest man in the universe. Owen Wilson plays his talking motorcycle. Produced by Stiller, who also appears in the introduction and as a strip club DJ."
It's like the Six Million Dollar Man, Renegad, T.J. Hooker, Nightrider all roled into one.
Great show. The rejection of this show makes me wonder what else the "networks" have decided we shouldn't watch.
