Blunt is fine. But I am currently divorcing a person who believes that respectful discourse is bull****, but openly hostile insults are "good, honest communication. Island, I can give you her phone number if this sounds attractive to you. It's not attractive to me. I like the second version better, but it still concludes that liberals are "mental challenged" which does nothing to improve or even modify the mature part of your post, and it's too long.

On a side note, being in labor relations, I host many meetings between parties that don't like each other one bit. Those meetings often have a blowing-off-steam portion at the beginning where the remarks of both parties are USELESS, but then the parties often lay their actual (as opposed to emotional) cards on the table and the play is brief and productive.

Openly hostile insults? I thought she found Christ or something and moved away. If that's true, wouldn't she be more in tune with respectful discourse?

As for labor relations: everything becomes less hostile when both sides adjourn to the titty bar and enjoy things evenly, right? :D
