I suppose you know what Hibbard had to say: "Hibbard recalls that Kerry had a "minor scratch" on his arm and was holding in his hand what appeared to be a fragment of a U.S. M-79 grenade, the shrapnel that had caused the wound. So Hibbard and Leston's reports don't match. But both are honest and truthful men whose recollection of events 35 years prior are razor sharp. Which is correct -- or is either? Oh, and I gotta say that identifying a piece of shrapnel as small as this one is supposed to be as having come from a specific weapon is absurd. It's just another loaded comment intended to make Kerry look bad. So Kerry left Vietnam having lead two dozen missions, being recognized twice for valor and having two uncontested purple hearts. But the smear-ers are focusing on one purple heart awarded to him -- Kerry didn't award it to himself -- and it makes you wonder if they're trying to shift the focus from Kerry's accomplishments or from GWBs 'war record.' Or both... |
What do you mean they don't match? please elaborate. The way I read it, Leston removed the piece, then Kerry took it to Hibbert saying "look what they took outta my arm". How is it that they don't agree? Also, I do not find it odd that a seasoned combat man would be able to identify scrapnel, maybe I'm wrong there, but I doubt it.

I see Money. People would only say something negative for money, not something positive? You'll have to do better than that.
As far as your comment on tearing people down, what about your boy saying that all these guys are war criminals? Or is that positive because Sherry said it? Before Novemeber this guy will be shown up as the fraud he is. The next time he tells the truth may well be the first time.http://www.sacredcowburgers.com/paro...nt_vertigo.jpg |
Hibbard claimed Kerry came to him first. Otherwise, how would he identify the wound as a "scratch"?
========= The above characters represent a 2cm x 2mm object. Are you seriously telling me it would be readily identifiable? |
"Hibbard claimed Kerry came to him first. Otherwise, how would he identify the wound as a "scratch"?"
Uh, easy. After it is removed there is a "wound". Leston said he "put a bandaid on it". Please show where Hibbard(mis spelled last time) said he came to him first? You are wrong. You're saying Kerry's first move would have been to go directly to a Commander asking for a Purlple Heart before being treated? Please, you're really trying too hard. Sometimes the truth is obvious. |

I do not understand how you can cast aspersions at John O'Neill, as some sort of opportunist, when Kerry brought a camera to Vietnam, insisted on Purple Hearts for abrasions, stabbed the war effort in the back for political opportunism, married 2 millionaires, and is currently running for the most powerful position in the world... John O'Neill's motives are suspicious? wow One Swift-Boat veteran down, Money, 253 to go...have at it. |
