Have patience. Sooner or later a moderator will move this thread to OT,

I've put a lot of thought into this and I normally stick to the car's given name, as I have only one I refer to it as "The Porsche" if I ever get another one I will refer to this one as "Porsche Number One" unless its a different model then I will refer to this one as "The SC" if further names are needed to differentiate I will add IE "The SC Targa".SmileWavy

Just in case anyone was wondering, I gave my two sons each human names, and my dog has an appropriate pet name.;)

Move to OT already.

Priapus, eh? I'm tempted to use that one if I thought I could keep a straight face when saying it!

I used to own a WRX STi called "Crikey".

Was the usual reaction you got from the passenger when you either stomped on the gas (300hp in something that didn't weighed much) or stomped on the brakes (Big Brembo's and sticky tyres)

The 911 is named "Portion", after what my 4 year old daughter called it when I brought it home - "You got a Portion, daddy!!!"

Our Park Avenues are "Shirley" and "Agatha" - cars driven mostly by bluehairs should have appropriate names. Don't knock 'em till you try one.

Lexi or Alexis - 2002 IS300. Used to be "fun car" (again named by daughter) until "Portion" came around.

Gracie - Gray 1992 Chevy Cavalier (obvious)

Holley - 99 Olds Alero. We had an Angus and an Aberdeen as cats, and were missing a Holstein to complete the cow theme.

Bug - 1973 VW Beetle. Duh.

Lemon or "The Egg" - white 1989 Pontiac Lemans (quite a lot of fun for 73 HP and 40MPG, when it wasn't broken, which was almost never)

Duckling - 2002 Pontiac Aztec (sure was ugly). Practical. Not just "not fun" to drive, but actively annoying to drive. Brainfart purchase since rectified by selling after stellar depreciation.

I've never named a car.
Even with a garage full, since no two are the same marque, I just refer to them as what they are. The Porsche. The Vette. The Mazda. Etc.

Is it that you guys have a creative spark that I lack, or just that you guys get more "personal" with your cars??
