San Francisco long weekend?

So, this labor day the wife and I are flying up to SF for a nice little long weekend.

I can't recall the hotel we're staying at but I'll find out from her and post it for reference.

I wish we could have driven up but she'll be 6 months pregnant by then and sitting in the sport seats just doesn't work for her. We're flying into San Jose and driving up for SF on Saturday morning. I think we'll come up through half moon bay and have some lunch there maybe. Can you see Mavericks from the beach? I'd love to get a look and a picture of that if it's breaking...

Anyway - I'm looking for some relaxing recommendations for the weekend. I've been up there a bunch of times and we'll be in downtown so if you know of something cool and pregnant friendly let me know.

mavericks from what my surfer friends say, are way the heck out there. i may be wrong, but i dont think you can see them from shore.

we have some of the best massage salons, a pregnant lady could want. a very nice one in wine country. OSMOSIS. i believe they have a website. i dont let anyone come thru SF without harping over "house of prime rib" . what they do with meat is nothing short of magical. sorta fancy, but you dont have to dress up. i will post more as it comes to me.

the smog laws are way stricter on other planets

if you will go from san jose to halfmoon bay take hwy 84 over the hill, and hwy 1 north to halfmoon. you can see the famous alice's resturant at 84 and skyline, you know the song? great scenic drive. going over the main route to HMB is hwy 92 and can be a CF with traffic at times.

mikester, i saw a musical "big river" a few weeks ago. it is about huckleberry finn. half the staff uses sign language, so another staff sings their part while they sign. i was soooo leary, but the show was mind blowing! you can buy tickets online and pick them up at willcall. your wife will love it. the way they put it all together was amazing. i think it is still here. i would see it again and again, except i would go crazy because my gfriend would sing the music all the time. the theater is walking distance from pretty much all the hotels downtown.
