Florida is legal to sell and carry as long as the blade is less than 3". The problem is it is against federal law to import them. Customs will send you a "We intercepted this stuff. Is it yours?" letter.

It is my understanding of American law that it is illegal to import as is interstate commerce, for the rest: Less than two inch blade is legal to carry in California. Laws vary from state to state and country to country as does interpretation. For badass check out a Protech Godfather, A Dalton Assassin or a Microtech Vector.
