Well there's a get-together being planned as we speak, err write. Have you ever worked on suspension before? If so, check out this thread. I hope Toby won't mind.

DISCLAIMER: The following is not the opinion of Pelican Parts, Wayne (whateverhislastnameis) and any of its subsidiaries
jose, thanks for asking such a timely question. here are a few hints well, that all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. for most situations a simple MagLite with C cells will do. some prefer small tire thumpers (available at any good truck stop) that can be easily placed under the seat. most, however, prefer a bit more heft and keep items such as breaker bars and large Crescent wrenches behind the seat. I don't really agree with this last choice, as they make it too difficult to hide intent and can also leave embarrassing identifying marks on the hapless victims. imagine the look on your mom's face when the cops show up for this one, eh? personally, I have always preferred large-caliber firepower and still swear by my trusty old Lousiville Slugger. sure, the technology is somewhat antiquated, but man, whip one of those out and you'll feel like Dirty Harry. the chicks dig 'em too. just remember one thing, it's not the size of the tool, but the size of the damage on the pitiful fool you leave lying in the gutter well, happy hunting and welcome to the fraternity ![]() oh, wait....

welcome jose, the bay area is great for porsche groups, clubs and very informal drives. stay tuned here for drive and autocross events.
actually there is an autocross school in a couple weeks with the pca. a few guys from the board are going maybe they can give you the skinny on it. i got my nugget magazine yesterday and it said there was still space available. thats a great time and an oppertunity to learn how to drive an ace heavy car.. chris, cliff,, i have been thinking of starting a "mid-year" yahoo group, kinda like the BAR group but without all the new iron. i mean pelican will still be the S, but we could save some of wyanes server space. what do you guys think??
