Anyone See the Dick Cavett Show with John Kerry on Cspan ?

The guy John O'neill ripped him apart.

I've read the transcript a couple times, but never seen it. I don't know how you can claim Oneil is "spinning", the guy comes accross very well. Kerry just refused to back up his accusations. The impression I got was that Kerry was passionately anti-war and would do whatever it took to paint it in a bad light. The funny thing is, most of the libs I have discussed this with think Kerry took Oneil to task? Perception is everything. I also liked how Oneil always keeps his composure(here and in recent debates/interviews, seems very honest.

O'Neill was virtually raped on Crossfire with Snakehead and the Forehead...Similar disrespectful treatment on Chris Matthews show....O'Neill kept his compusure, stuck on message and destroyed all three ultra-lefties...But they had control and used every artifice in the juvenile left-wing playbook to diminish O'Neill's message, including talking over him, interrupting, playing to the audience, doing AlGore sighs at strategic moments that O'Neill was winning...You know the usual nagging b!itch tricks of someone getting slaughtered when they are wrong.

I've see the old debate when it was on C-Span before, so I did not watch it again this weekend.

It was a pretty good match up, but the crowd was anti-war and on Kerry's side. They laughed at O'Neil but it did not ruffle him all that much, he ignored the sensory input for better or worse.

Kerry won, if there is such a score card. Anyone who's seen the show would have to agree, or just not of been watching very closely.

Asleep in class again boys?;)

O'Neil is an attorney. If attorneys learn anything, they learn (1) how to use emotion (or lack thereof) to their advantage and (2) how to parse information to accomplish the same goal.

He was on cable news last night with a Kerry defender. O'Neil came off as a typical lawyer, although I must admit the other individual did ask him some questions for which he had no direct answers. Frankly, I saw an individual who was very much in control of a lot of anger.

Once a liar, always a liar.

I clicked on that link, (how did you do that, J.)?, expecting to see Kerry get a real beating. We all know that his mouth has a habit of writing checks that his ass can't cash sometimes, (medals thrown away), and I'd heard part of it before and it was when O'Neill was scoring points.

Frankly, I thought that Kerry came off pretty well under whithering criticism, and John O. definitely is a politician of sorts himself w/ an obsessive anti-Kerry agenda. Not addressing whether he is justified in this or not, just pointing it out. It's relevant.

I cannot wait for the Presidential debates, Kerry is pretty good and Bush isn't half bad either, at least he did extremely well against Anne Richards in Texas. It is easier for bush when he is the challenger, however. Should be interesting. Kerry can definitely withstand a schitstorm, and that is an important quality for successful politicians.

Ancient Chinese secret...(for instance, you go to cspan.org, you open a video and in the video address line you will see an address. Simply grab that address, paste where necessary...voila).

What I found so interesting is what great lengths Kerry went to defend the communists, what great lengths he went to demonize the South Vietnamese...I am sure the millions murdered, the reeducation camps, those tortured and those that fled would take serious issue with Kerry's omnipotence.

Geez, he was ostensibly acting as counsel for the communists...Promising release of POW/MIAs, promise of democracy...All the while aiding and abetting the butchers and feeding their propaganda machine.

The other thing that blindingly becomes clear in this debate is Kerry's motive for manufacturing an escape hatch. Immediately upon returning from his stunt in Vietnam, after he captured the appropriate photo-op material, he went far-left anti-war...If he was there and honorably served it wouldn't seem he would come back with a game plan to secure elected office.

- He hasn't released his records (ostensibly ending and destroying his critics)

- He lied about being in Cambodia and under Nixon.

- He threw his medals over a wall and then has them on his wall.

- He sought elected office by falsely charging rampant attrocities (since half-assedly retracted)

sKerry -- a man you cannot trust (unless you are a communist)
