If an orchid fell in the forest, would the fridge light go off?

juanbenae 08-24-2004 01:43 PM

i ripe fig can look like that place too, you have to split it open just right though.

another bit of food for thought, if you were to order an open faced sandwhich, would you be served pastrami, or the roast beef?

djmcmath 08-24-2004 02:23 PM

I don't know what you're talking about, so here's a picture of a bunny with an orchid on his head.

I'll never look at my wifes collection the same way again.

Collection of orchids. Gotta love a woman who loves orchids.

Wait....I'm confused. Can we talk about Mexican food?

Orchids are epiphytic, growing on other plants in regions of high moisture. The dry deserts aren't conducive for supporting this type of plant.

Now stapeliads are the orchid of the succulent world. Very beautiful and highly desireable for their ornamental value.

Check out : Stapeliads

And yes, these are the ones known for the rotting flesh smell of the blooming flowers. :D

Adenium, or Desert Rose, are from South Africa and a bit north, and also have delectible flowers and quite interesting growth habits.

If the Lord had intended for man to eat orchids, He would have made them look like a taco.
