no fault insurance?
do this end up costing the honest consumer more or less? i dont understand how this really works. which states are no fault?
I don't know exactly how it works, but do know that Michigan is a no fault state. Maybe someone from MI will chime in with some explanation.
MI is no fault. Dunno if it's costing me more or less.
NJ is no fault.
Here's an article that attempts to answer your question: http://www.newswise.com/p/articles/view/30499/ Basically, No fault guarantees that your insurance company will pay your damages, up to a limit specified in your policy, and no matter who's at fault. States include: DC, FL, HI, KS, KY, Mass, MI, MN, NJ, NY, ND, PA, UT |
Dunno how it works in all states, but consider (1) a one car accident or (2) an under/uninsured driver
