Why is the RNC convention in NYC anyway? Isn't NY a Democrat stronghold - like L.A.?

what they don't know is that a NYC PD got 38 stiches while involved with them at the Plaza Hotel. 2asst. + 2 guys rappeling, while hanging a 75ft sign, were involved with being arrested when the officer fell thru a skylite. The PD's 38 stiches makes the arrest 1st Degree Assault w/25yr max prison time. Many other charges were also booked. Reckless endangerment, criminal trespass, etc.

Yes.. the whole state has been written off by the Rep party mgt for many years. It's a major reason Hillary resides here. It was a "given" that she would be a senator no matter what her faults are. Calif is small time Dem entrenchment compared to NY. Although there is a Rep Gov, he perform like a Dem in Rep clothes.

John, I own a 1955 Piper Pacer (was a Tri Pacer earlier in it's life). I also built and own a Minimax Ultralight (wood and fabric taildragger). So yeah I have done some work on taildraggers along with Grummans, Cherokees, Cessnas Etc Etc.

For the last 5 years I have been building an aerobatic taildragger called a One Design from plans. It kind of looks like an Extra 300. I am overhauling a 200hp Lycoming IO-360.

The 4130 chrome moly fuselage is done as is the wood wing. At one point I had it on it's gear to make and fit sheet metal canopy and controls. I still need to cover it, install instuments, weld up engine mount, build cowling, paint wing, fit brakes and wheelpants etc etc.

I kind of got side tracked with this Porsche stuff (I recently acquired a '79 911 in need of some love) along with a couple of large jobs building/repairing aircraft for customers (I could not resist the challenge or side job money). I hope to get back on the plane project after I get my 911 running again.

So whats the charge if a cop chokes on his donut while trying to give me a speeding ticket?

Good point 350. (it's about time:p)

Was the cop pushed by the guy being arrested; or was he just being careless during the arrest?

he wasn't pushed.. and I'm not sure if "careless" is the clear reason for the injury.. The law says the cop and perps were involved so any injury arising from the arrest is tied into the arrest charge.. I guess a lawyer member would be able to give a clearer explain.
