But it happened thirty years ago :(
One of the liberal battle cries about Senator Kerry's service record and controversial decorations is always "it happened thirty years ago - get over it!" Does it not occur that it was the Senator who until very recently based his entire campaign on those controversial medals. WTF is up with that?

Dunno. I've stayed out of these political debates, and I hardly ever vote "mainstream" candidates anyway.
But... what bothers me is that if they are lyin to me/us/the People about one thing, what kind of credibility could they possibly have when they are representing the People who elected them? Really sad thing is I'm not talking just about on a national level - happens locally and on state-level as well. Maybe there is some truth behind the "stereotypical sleazy lawyer/politician" thing, even if it is just a small handful that are ruining the reputation of the rest.
