Jason,
I know this is terribly off subject (that is, it something can be more off subject than a newly acquired pet baby squirrel named Fuch) but... when we spoke on Tuesday about my most recent Pelican order and you exclaimed that your father is working here in Jacksonville, AL building our CVS... well I went by and met Mr. Jim Porter today - quite a friendly fellow!!!

Yeah, the apple don't fall far from the tree, as I'm sure you noticed from our nearly identical country@$$ accents and similar general personality traits!

He's an awesome guy. Taught me everything I know about carpentry, setting steel, drinkin' and chasin' women. Told not to do drugs and always wear protection. Taught me how to fight, and how to be a man. I love that guy more than words can say. Hopefully this year I'll be goin' home for the holidays.

I love the part of the movie where they don't buy a squirrel and she gives them wrong directions... as they fall down the cliff the signs read:

you

should

have

bought

a

squirrel

There is a California Wildlife center in the Valley that can help you with the little guy.

A friend of my wifes took a duck there once.

SmileWavy

Personally I'd make him the office mascott.

C'mon wayne.

Actually, if you've ever had a hamster, it a little bigger than that. I know because he ***** on me like 4 times yesterday, and nearly ruined my favorite NY Yankess shirt!

OMG...that is adorable...i'll be interested to see if you keep him or he ends-up back with a squirrel family...at least you guys are taking very good care of him. :)

RickM 09-03-2004 11:40 AM

I wouldn't mock the little guy. Here's his big brother....

RickM 09-03-2004 01:34 PM

Heh heh...I have a feeling Zman may be flying overhead. This pic kinda pushes the boundries a bit.

Have a great weekend.

vash 09-03-2004 05:18 PM

that is one proud looking squirrel! i hope fuchs is a girl. no way a rodent will get famous in commercials with a package like that! big nuts dont sell snickers bars....

billwagnon 09-05-2004 04:26 AM

I believe opossums are the only North American marsupials, so sugar glider flying squirrels must be mammals.

I could look it up on Google, but then so could everybody else. SmileWavy

BlueSkyJaunte 09-05-2004 06:39 AM

Sugar gliders are not native to North America.
