I recall when I was in high school if a girl got pregnant, she was quietly whisked away to have the baby somewhere else. Years later when my oldest daughter graduated there were 5 expectant girls in the ceramony. One who was concerned about going into labor before the graduation celebration was over. My how things have changed.
