Any way make a region 2 DVD into a region 1 DVD?

Noticed that some of the "Top Gear" stuff with Jeremy Clarkson is available from Amazon in the UK on DVD. Unfortunatley, its all region 2 encoding. I'm wondering if there is any legal way to get this stuff or play it in the US without trying to rig up a big mess to view it. The disc would either need to be region 0 or region 1, so it won't play here as it sits.

Thanks...

Sell your old player and buy a region free one.
If you want to watch stuff from around the world, that's going to be the best way to do it.

Use ShrinkIT to save to Hard drive and redo the region coding. Then Nero or other burning software to reburn.

2 ways ....

(1) goto http://www.DVDRHelp.com
find out if your player has a Region Hack using keys on the remote control ( most do )

(2) copy (or) View on your computer using " AnyDVD ". AnyDVD is a small ap that runs in the background and decodes and overlooks stuff like region codes and Analog Copy Protection... With AnyDVD running, you can use any DVD software to copy a Copyrighted DVD or view any Regions DVD..
Hope that helps

Oh, BTW, most DVD players only allow you to upgrade firmware and or change region code a couple times ....
