well, the finish was (close to) expected, but the race wasn't. It was great to see Reubens win at Monza, and it showed at the end how much better the cars and/or drivers are (take your pick). Alonso was pissed though...marshalls wouldn't push him out of the gravel trap.

For some reason I'm looking forward to the season being over. I hope next season brings some better competition.

Yeah, that was a fun race to watch. Ferrari...wow.

yes it was a great race.....ferrari had to work for it.
for a while i thought jenson was finally going to get the win he deserves........but ferrari like usuall just put it all together.
people complain about there being no competition, but there has never been this kind of domination in F1, it's going to make when they finally do get beaten that much sweeter.
once the new aero packages/restrictions come into effect next year we're going to see the same thing.....ferrari at the front, they will adapt, they will overcome :D

Just wanted to rub it in and say that I was at the race. Pictures coming... looking for a film scanner so if any of you have more info/advice on film scanners please reply to http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/181129-advice-film-scanners.html otherwise I may just get a Minolta new or used for ~$300 off of ebay.

It was a good race to watch but in my mind Ferrari are leaps and bounds over everyone else. Michael spun and was pretty well last while Reubens had the wrong tires on and still won easily with the extra stop. Michael is the same in terms of speed over Reubens and could have probably easily taken the win if he wanted it.

That said, Rubino did produce a good drive and an awesome qually lap even though he was running lighter on fuel.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I clicked on this thread...another porn-theatre Pee-wee Herman arrest or something about paintings of zaftig ladies...
