current conspiracy theories

talking with a few friends last night...diehard liberals. They offered a few conspiracy theories:

1. Bush's buddies are keeping gas prices artificially low until after the election. And specifically, that gas prices will slowly drop in the weeks leading up to the election.

2. bin Laden has been caught, but is being secretly held by US Special Forces. He will be trotted out right before the election.

talk amongst yourselves...

And CBS is objective.

Anything is possible with the Bush gangs record of corruption, secrecy and hidden agendas.

Mr. Clinton didnt really have heart problems. It is all a diversion to help Kerry loose so Miss Clinton can run in 08. Really. They will do anything to help thier cause.

CJFusco 09-14-2004 06:41 AM

3) Kerry is part of the same big business-interest collective as Bush, and this election is a stage to give the commoners the impression of competition/change

I have worked in the public works contracting arena for years now and can tell you that anyone who categorically denies the real potential for conniving, secret, unscrupulous behavior when billions of dollars are at stake is......

NAIVE.

island911 09-14-2004 07:14 AM

yep, super, that's why "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys."

Superman 09-14-2004 07:22 AM

Okay, Island. I can see where we're at. We can make this Global Thermonuclear War if you want. Before I make another comment, I'm going to take a deep breath and see what it looks like you want to do. What do you want to do? Make another comment about my family, Island and there will be no doubt.

Mule 09-14-2004 07:35 AM

Not so 85, the real deal on the surgery was to remove Hillary's shoe from Bill's a$$ after being caught with another hot toots.

Super, so quick to break-out the nukes, over something so simple as pointing out your hypocracy?

. . or are you just riding your high, of baiting Mul into getting himself banned?

BTW, Don't you think war is bad?

Regarding your family matters; (which you brought to this bbs) I've kept those related comments in PM's to you . .. yet you make it sound as if I'm posting **** about your family matters, all over the board.

Dude, learn how to separate issues. . . these posts here are banter . . ..I thought you were "an easy-going, light-hearted" type of guy who liked banter . .. or a challenging argument.

Supe, I didn't know you were taking this so personaly. . .. would you like me to stop responding to your posts, as others have?

Howsabout this one...?

The Dems really don't want Kerry to win the election this year.

Kerry was losing his a$$ at the beginning of their Primaries and all of a sudden, he's their front runner. Why did this happen?

Secretly (but not so secretly ;) ), the Dems are wanting Hillary to be the Pres in 2008. If Kerry wins this year, that pretty much puts her out of contention for the next 8 years. No way they would run her against their own guy if they already have the White House.
Soooo, here we have the Dems putting Kerry out there as their "Hero"...and WTF??? He's doing pretty good!!!

I can hear Terry McAullife now..."Damn stupid Democrats! They're not supposed to like Waffle-boy so much! How can I slow this thing down?" So, he "releases some documents" to CBS, knowing full well that ol' Dan Blather will run with them, and Ta-dah! Then downward cycle in Kerry's campaign begins.

The Dems actually end up putting on a good show of "trying to get elected" when in reality, it was all just a bunch of filler designed to buy some time for Hillary to have a chance.

Any takers?

Randy

island911 09-14-2004 09:32 AM

HA, that's great Randy. In other words; Hillary thinks that another four years of GW Bush, is best for our country.

. . .well isn't she thoughtful? ;)

red ufo 09-14-2004 09:38 AM

Heres a conspiracy theory.

Republicans really aren't racistic Jesus freaks, they really do care about black people!

Mule 09-14-2004 09:47 AM

Damn Red, couldn't you have squeezed a "neocon" in ther somewhere?

Wait wait wait...

I've heard this alot that apparently we democrats want hillary in office...but I've never heard why we would want that (other than the fact that she's a democrat).

So...why is that again exactly?

rcecale 09-14-2004 10:12 AM

You're the ones who want her in the White House.! You tell us, Mike.

Randy

edit: and no! the "Anyone but Bush" line doesn't fly here. :D

island911 09-14-2004 10:14 AM

mikster, I don't think the issue is so much that most democrats want hillary in office...but rather; hillary wants hillary in office. Hillary is all about managing personal power. . . and you little people will do as you're told. (or sumthin like dat.)

Eric 951 09-14-2004 10:28 AM

Immigants!! Even when it was the bears I knew it was immigants.

mikester 09-14-2004 10:29 AM

Cop out!

I didn't say we wanted her - I said you said we wanted her and I asked for your evidence of this.

Clearly you don't know how this "he said she said" crap works.

:D

Oh; and I would never say "Anyone but Bush."

I have clear and concise reasons *NOT* to vote for him.
