If i could roll around in the p-car with a handcannon under the seat....
Id have a couple of choices.... Maybe soon i need to go back to CO and get myself a concealed carry license because gun laws in cali are dumb....
Well if i had to choose i have to decide between the desert eagle .50 in the glove box (dont know if it would fit) or a glock 18. Ohh the DE.50 would be titanium gold to match the teeth... lol...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095223652.jpg Under the passenger seat though for quick acess would have to be the fn p90 with its 50 round clip and fully autoness i could doo crazy things like pulling the e brake and then pull a 180 turn pop out the sun roof and light the world on fire as i cruise in reverse at 50 or something...... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095223758.jpg Or I'd keep something like and mp5 for thoughs pesky somethings lying in the middle of the road.. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095223702.jpg Or a silenced TMP machine pistol Heres some pics Or maybe its just crazy midwest speak |
D@mn!.. you’re not ****in around.
I’ve been content with my Bersa 380 Compares to Bond’s PPK w/out the jamming issues. <img src="http://www.bersa-sa.com.ar/images/THU380SP.jpg"> Fun to target shoot with. Compacts can be a bi**ch on accuracy. I carry it on my motorcycle when I go on long rides.. not sure why.. must be a cowboy thing(?) I pray I never actually ‘need’ it. |

Are your secretly Ted Nugent? |
It's actually illegal to do so,but instead of having fine weapons roll around under your seat (ask me how I know) Porsche seats are very easy to modify so your weapon is IN the seat and very easy to reach. Well hidden and it's not likely that it would be found during a superficial search.

Not with my sports seats...nope! Silly me...still happy with my old Browning Hi-Power...

nice hardware! if you want to blow off some steam, there is a bay area run on mines rd, scheduled for this sat. see the thread in tech section.
|
hehe, funny funny
|
That's good thinking for someone living in Mad Max's world. Or George Bush's. I'm from Planet Earth.
|
oh yah thats if i had 5k grand to drop on all the hardware. And i know that responsibility comes with owning a gun.
But if everyone had guns no one would want to start anything because of retaliation. VOTE liberterian 2004 |

My room-mate bought a DE.50 this spring. Beautiful weapon. You don't realize how big .50 caliber is until you actually put your eyeballs on a half-inch bullet, or a half-inch muzzle.
But then, my room-mate wasn't perhaps the most responsible gun owner. He kept one under his pillow with a chambered round. Kind of strange. Oh, and to really scare you, before he resigned from his Navy job, he held the keys to nuclear launch on a ballistic missile submarine. That oughtta keep you up late at night... Dan |
Hey Mule: how many terrorist attacks have been prevented by every psychobilly having his own arsenal of exotic automatic weapons?
Yeah, though so. |
Any one want to start a NRA Gruppe? The only requirements is a Porsche and a gun.

I had a 44 DE.. the thing is too big to carry but they are made well and very accurate. I will stick to my trusty glock .40...what the heck is the weapon in the picture under the Dessert Chicken?

Grandpa's Gun
is there anyone out there who can help tell me what this is...My dear departed Grandpa left me this gun...I don't know what it is and maybe what it is worth? I don't really know much about guns....Sorry I just couldn't get a good picture of the writing on the gun but the serial number is C174XXX...and it says National Match Colt........http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095379191.jpg
|
the weapon is a fabrique nationale 90
A good autox would have targe top or cab owners or even sunroof coupe owners have to do a 200yd dash over hazardous qbsticles firing at certain body shaped like objects get to the car with a codriver who hangs out the top shooting out targets while you try to drive all at the same time it would be fun |

is the 90 full auto or semi?
|
ahh last post was "tounge in cheek" for all you out there
fn90 is fully auto with a 50 round clip |
Thats FUNNY Tabs.

Why do I suspect Tabs is in wind-up mode?;)
At an uneducated guess it's a Colt National Match. Ancestor to the Colt Gold Cup. It's not worth much. I'll give you $25 but you pay post and packing:D |
now I'm curious... so what is it???
|
Grandpa's gun is worth that much, anybody offer $26. A Colt National Match U say and whats so special about that......hmmm when did they start making them and how old would U say my gun is?

I know the thread is half in fun ( ) but honestly I am far less worried about... "situations" ...when I'm in my car then when I'm NOT in my car.
In fact, based on my experiences thus far, after working in the same locale for 14 years, the riskiest place where I spend a considerable amount of time is my friggen office in the People's Republic of Santa Fondica. We have had shootings, attempted rapes/assaults, burglaries, car break-ins, and so forth, many in broad daylight. This is an area where jet-setters (including Dubya) fly in and out and average home prices are probably $600K on up (and those are 2BR/1BA ****boxes). For chrissakes somebody once stole the crappy H5 headlights out of my co-worker's 89 Carrera right in his parking spot outside our door! And last weekend a company in the building was relieved of ALL their brand-new computer equipment by the midnight requisition crew. I am seriously thinking about an under-desk holster. That's mainly because a tactical 12ga in a rack on my wall probably would not go over well with the landlord. We already have an alarm system, complex (multi-door/multi-key) locks, etc. so I am unclear what else we can do w/o moving out of the area. Which I plan to do ASAP if at all feasible. |
I don't like unattended guns in open sight, so I use the ladies option of keeping it in my handbag. Most of the time I use a purpose made type that is a small shoulderbag with a holster compartment. Reaching in from outside your hand goes straight to the grip, you can keep your hand on the gun without anyone being the wiser and if necessary as it's open both ends I suppose you could shoot with Roscoe still in the bag. Very discreet.

...a picture is worth a thousand words
This explains better what I was trying to describe. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095512343.jpg This one is from Ray's holsters. I actually prefer saddleleather to soft. And I would dearly love one by Prada. They don't offer one and at their prices I won't ruin the real thing by having it cut up for concealed carrry;) |
Handbags!
Isa's revenge for all the political and sports threads:D |
I have a Beretta 92FS 9mm, but I don't carry it in the car. My wife bought it for me for Christmas because it's the same model I carried while in Desert Strom and the pistol really impressed me. I like 9mm because they are cheap to shoot and I like to go to the range..

Shoes are also very important:D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095597836.jpg |
At the moment I'm using a Beretta model 70 in 32 acp for carry (no comments mouse guns and marauding manhunting kittens thankyou). I have problems with the 92 as my small hands don't fit well with a trigger guard designed for US marines wearing gloves. Everyone seems to think it's a great piece though. Personally I just don't like the modern plastic stuff like Glocks. I keep thinking toy:)
