take a survey please!

As part of my research, I've got a VERY short survey online about frustration with downloading files. 5 questions...should take all of 45 second to do. I would really appreciate it if you can take the survey. We're using the data for a car-2-car, peer-2-peer engineering research project.

thanks

The scale is 1 thru 1????

Uh, Todd, I was going to take your survey, but not sure if very frustrated = 1 or very happy = 1 as the scale shows all 1's! The graph itself is 1-9, but no correlation to the scale!

This whole survey has left me very frustrated!

"on a scale of 1 to 1, 1 being the worst, and 1 being the best, what do you feel about surveys???http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/.../eat_arrow.gif

typical one-sided survey.

I feel kind of conflicted only providing 1 answer.

Done.
I assumed the visual markings on the scale were:
Green = happy
red = unhappy

azasadny 09-15-2004 12:33 PM

I think the survey goes to 11!!

cegerer 09-15-2004 12:49 PM

1. I try to download a file and have access denied
2. I try to download a file, it starts downloading, then quits in the middle
3. I try to download a file, complete the download, and the file won't play

Would there be any answer other than "very frustrated" to any of those 3 questions? :confused: Do you really need a survey for this?

juanbenae 09-15-2004 01:40 PM

should have surveyed the survey maybe?

nostatic 09-15-2004 01:48 PM

what are you guys talking about? The text at the top gives the scale as 1 being really frustrated, 9 being really happy. Then the radio buttons have 1 in the red zone (frustrated), 9 in the green zone (happy).

As for the answers, if everyone puts very frustrated as an answer, then we'll have our data. I don't want to make that assumption though...personally, access denied pisses me off a lot less than the other two.

btw, just so you have some context, some of the engineers are working out algorithms for access control in p2p systems. The qos formulas have some "frustration factors" built into them, but they just made up the numbers. We're just trying to get a little data to indicate if their numbers are reasonable.

Not in mine, the scale is 1. through 1.

should be fixed now. IE blows...it can't even render an ordered list correctly. Had to put text in a table...

Yep, working. Though looks like a push-poll. (1)

Would you vote for nostatic if you knew he had fathered a Martian baby?
