Focus on the important stuff for a change...
Americans will never cease to amaze the rest of the world (well, me, anyway - but I am authorized to speak for the "rest of the world").
Your entertainment fixated culture has you constantly advancing the apparent personalities and (small p) political faces of your politicians over the policies or philosophies that they represent.
That a BJ from an intern in the oval office could nearly destroy an administration epitomizes the small mindedness of the (of the minority that still participates in the process) American electorate.
Here in many parts of Canada Charles Manson could get elected so long as he carried the banner of an appropriate political party. Equally, I suspect that Mr. Chirac would need to not party with interns to even open the possibility of his private persona hitting the radar screens of the French voters.
The world will welcome the day that America becomes toilet trained and outgrows this potty fixation in respect to it's politicians.
In other words... who cares what happened or didn't happen to Kerry in some jungle in asia, or whether George liked to dress up and play crack ho' three decades ago...
