American Cancer Society Fundraiser ...

Sorry for this sobering thread in the land of laughs and politics ...

My wife is participating in upcoming walk(s) against breast cancer fundraiser(s) - in honor of my Mom was struck hard with the disease and others she knows. While my Mom is still around, it's been a continous battle the past 6 years and the treatment(s) and side-effects have left her with about 75% of her health. Our hearts go out to those who are fighting and those who have lost loved ones to the disease.

My wife asked that I post on this board to see what kind of interest it may generate. She was surprised to see some interest from another BBS she's involved with.

I know this BBS isn't meant for this kind of activity, but she asked me if I would post the info - and I think it's very nice of her to be doing this in my Mom's honor. Moderators - if this post is over the line for this board, we understand and delete this post if need be.
