Oil for Bribe Money... I mean Food
Watched the Fox expose on Sadams Oil for Food ..and how he was bribing...UN Officials, French and Russian Officals etc etc .....how Russia, France and China were the biggest sellers of food? to Irwreck., and how Sadam counted on their veto of the UN resolution to invade Irwreck.
But here was the interesting part it outlined the meetings between Sadams represenatives and Bin Laden. It is a good bet that Sadam was funding AL Qaedea.... These documents were leaked to the press by the Irwrecky government...Oh yeah as if Washington didn't know... Funny that these revelations are coming one month before the election..which would discredit the Kerry campaigns wanting to be more inclusive of other nations eg the UN. Also it does shore up Bush's rational for invaading Irwreck...remember one of the big thrusts of stopping terrorism eg Al Qaeda is the money trail. Bin Laden may not have the money to launch major attacks anymore? I havn't quiet gotten my head around this yet..but it sure is starting to smell that as soon as Bush is relelected there is going to be a real house cleaning regarding the money trails.... and.... there is going to be one he11 of a clamp down coming... 1. The UN atomic energy commission has told Iran to stop the enrichment of Uraniium A. Colin Powell told the Iranians to stopletting insurgents cross the border..Iran wants to influence Irwreck 2. The documents showing the corruption in the UN and various other governments 3. The reported secret military plans to clamp down on insurgent areas in Irwreck 4. Poor Danny being caught trying to pass off forged documents.. 5. The report that the Pakistani army is on the trail of Bin Laden Let's just see whats coming... boyz. .

Say what you want fellas...hell, it may even be true...but the fact of the matter is, it was the right hand of the liberal god, CBS, that was caught with their proverbial pants around their ankles. I would certainly believe FOX over CBS at this point in time.

The US has tried so hard to prove Saddam guilty, but haven't managed to find anything conclusive agaist him yet. Sure he was a genocidial maniac, but only against people in his own part of the world. Plus he kept a lid on tha can o' worms you guys opened up.

Dude, we . . .the US have been, in large part, responsible for keeping a lid on Saddam! If Saddam had been left to his own we would be remebering the good ol days when OPEC controlled the flow. The cost of trying to keeping a lid on Saddam became too much for us, and the average Joe Iraqii. . . as Saddam was doing what he could to circumvent the sanctions, for his own pleasure.

LOL, well as long as you are happy with the situation, and feel that the suffering and misery on both sides has been worth it. Umm, with Saddam gone won't that be an excellent place for Al Qaedea to operate from.
(In the past if Al Qaedea tried to move in on his turf, he'd hang them in the town square). |

Ah, I see . .. you think we're being too soft. . ..Saddam was the needed hard-ass to keep things in check. (ya?)
Yeah, we tried that . ..well Bush41 tried that. Remember that whole "push'em out of Kawaitt" thing? Lots of oil-wells burning. I think that we pissed-off Saddam, just a skosh. So what's a power-hungry dictator to do? Does he focus his rage on killing and tortering his own people? Well ya . . but how long can fun like that last? . . .still lingers that empty, beaten feeling...poor innocent Saddam ![]() So, Just maybe, somewhere in the last decade of hating the US, Saddam started thinking "outside the sandbox" . . .and he struck on some conduits to hit the US. This oil for bribes. . er . .FOOD, was a great angle. As you've pointed out, Saddam would burn an Al Qaedea guy, no-problem. . . so here this OBL guy, funding from the family cut off, looking for a sugardaddy. Here's a memo;

Democrat bias in the mainstream media? That's not possible
Although 90% of the media vote Democratic, they would never let that influence their important work as journalists ...... on the other hand, here's a CBS news truck parked outside the studios in LA ...... I report, you decide.

Wow, that picture says it all. I can't believe they are so blatant about it. That's either management ineptitude, or complicity.

Yeah, that picture says it all, alright. But technically it is a "painting." And it still is the strongest evidence of Saddam's complicity in Al Queda operations. No wonder we keep seeing it. It's "PROOF."
