Paying off the P-car.
Made the final payment on the Turbo P-car today. I remember the first time I saw a Turbo. I had just moved to Texas. Downtown Dallas, October 1982. I thought wow, now that is a car. Took me till July 2000 to finally make a deal for one. I painted the guys house, built him a cedar fence, a little concrete work, a little cash, and a bank loan for the rest. I have loved every minute of driving it. (except the 3 360's I did on the tollway in the rain) ok, they were fun too cuz I didn't hit anything. And now, if someone will just send me a don't laugh it's paid for bumper sticker! Brian

Sweet! Some day I'd like to get a real turbo, rather than a 911 with a sock in it's shorts...

Congrats!
My wife and I recently became car-payment-less for the first time in 15 years. We have 4 cars free and clear which is more than plenty at this point. As per the American Way, we still have some other hellish bills/debts but each time one gets knocked-off, it sure feels good.

Great-looking car. I know for me, it's a much different feeling when you own a car outright as opposed to having possession of car actually 'owned' by the bank. Congrats!

Thanks Art Z. It's made a few trips to SE MI before. 1350 miles is a long ways, but it's amazing how comfortable it is to drive long distance.
