His logic applies to all of us. It's just not newsworthy because we aren't high profile athletes. To wit, how many of you skipped a track day or autocross because of the wife/girlfriend.

Not me. One of the nails in my coffin with the previous g/f was blowing off her friend's wedding for a track day, and then the one-two punch: she calls one evening for a booty call, and I say "Can't, I'm setting re-bar for the driveway".

The most recent in a long line of ex's equated time spent on the 911 as cheating. I can imagine getting caught in bed with one of her friends (and she has some hot friends!) and saying "but at least I wasn't working on the car!"
