Funky! It doens't look very sea worthy to me. I'd be afraid of choppy water and waves.
|
Yeah, looks like it may capsize pretty easily in rough water.

Can you say photochop?
|
Gives true meaning to the phrase 'Land Yacht'.
|
It's not a photchop. Car & Driver had a review on it a month or two ago. There are actually pontoons that get extended from the side, so what you're seeing isn't fully marine-readiness yet.

Might be a good thing to have in Florida, no joke.
|
No property tax...
|
How much?
Oops, missed it... $1.2M as shown. |
That's got to be a joke!

Truly the most worthless, (and variation on oldest), invention of all time. Like all amphibious vehicles, it's a terrible boat and a terrible car, (RV), but it does both. For the price of this POS one can buy a good boat and a great RV, with enough left over for a nice house in most states. Sheezus.

Speeder, you are so right. I like your common sense.

This one does 125mph land and 45mph water. http://www.watercar.com/photo.html What if it had a nice shaped hull and big engine, was towable by semi, and had a pull-out deck system? |
It's for real. I've seen several reviews on TV and print...
(If it's on TV, it must be true right?) Seriously though... If I had a spare mil and lived in the right place, why not? |
it is early in the week wayne.

Did any one look at the amphibious SUV, there is actually a vehicle uglier than a Pontiac Aztec!
 |
Perfect for those Florida vacations
Here's the amphibious vehicle I want, and it has Porsche heritage: http://home.dnepr.dk/puetnitz/schwimmwagen.jpg |
