Regardless of which side of an issue you're on. . . .or if you change your mind. . .or change your side. . . .Kerry is always there for you.

Heh, before this whole thing is over Kerry'll be investigated by the Navy for his faked medals, the FBI for his dealings with the North Korean leadership during Vietnam, and ATF for having illegal firearms.

They don't specifically say that Kerry owns an AK-47, just a "Chinese Assault rifle" Look carefully at the article. Dollars to doughnuts, it's an SKS.

Hmm,
I'm wondering if, whatever rifle he has, is legal. When I was in Iraq, it was a big deal not to take any war memorabilia out of the AOR. I realize that he was an officer and I am not, so it would be easier for him to take it out of the country. Maybe he didn't take it out of Vietname; maybe it is not the case, but that's how I understand "...reminders of my service..." *shrug* Serge |

It might be a SKS, maybe an AK, could well be an antique Moison Nagant. Even so, did he obey the law, does he have a FID required of Mass gun owners, and has he declared this weapon? Finally, if it is capable of full automatic fire, does he also have a Class 3 license, and have all the appropriate fees and taxes been paid? If we poor saps have to abide by the law, the sKerry should too. Bet you won't ever find out.

The rifle was a gift from the communist north vietnamese for helping their cause. Or was it a "take home" Christmas present off a dead guy in Cambodia. Oh, sorry..He was never in Cambodia.......
Hey I got it! It was a gift from the vietnamese ambassador to France!
