Martini 935 1/8 scale model found...

at a thrift shop. Pieces never taken out of plastic, in original box that must be about the size a 911 front trunk!

Anyone interested in som'n like this?:)

I am. Are you selling it?

That sounds cool! I was holding out for finding a 1:1 model at a thrift store, but I probably can't even afford the 1:8 scale..

Thom,
I have a 1:1 model in pieces ... no original box though. Could be for sale too, but not at thrift store prices.

That's a great find. You can often find me hunting around at thrift shops for that sort of thing. You dream about finding an elderly Horseman or Linhof sitting on a shelf with a single-digit price tag in the "Optical Miscellanea" or "Photographic Knick-Knacks" section. Anyhow, I've been thinking it'd be fun to put together a model Porsche, but 5 bucks'll getcha 10 than project935 is way more interested in it than I am. :)

All it takes is time. I have some smaller scale Tamiya and Ertl/AMT kits I have yet to find the time to assemble ... along with my 1:1 "kit"

If it is the Tamiya kit, I am very interested...

Here's the box. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1096306090.jpg
It's made by Entex. It has everything in it, the decals, the intstructions, and the pieces are still wrapped in plastic. The box is huge.

I'm intrested also. Come on.....lets see a price! Stop the torture.....

project935 09-27-2004 09:48 AM

Now I'm very interested ... that's actually the '74 Carrera Turbo RSR, not a 935.

K. Roman 09-27-2004 11:34 AM

I've researched this and found that this kit is worth a lot of money.

I'm going to need to put this on ebay or something. I know I shouldn't have put this up on PP prior to knowing anything about it but I was just excited to find it.

I'll need to think this out carefully.

Thanks for the interest,

K. Roman

Post a link to the sale when you put it on ebay.
