Mid-East instability - I know the truth and it scares me
Mid-East instability, I just figured it out.
Instablity is caused by war, right? Mid-east instablity results in high oil prices (the part I understand), right? Recap: Iraq invaded Kuwait (Gulf War) because they were using slant drilling technology to steal oil, the US ambasador said we would do nothing if Iraq took their affairs into their own hands....................WAR........INSTABLITY. Years later "bush the lesser" starts America's first "pre-emptive war", the war we have now..............which once again has lead to ................INSTABLITY. So.................in the mid-east, in the past 14 years there have been two wars in the mid-east which have caused great instablity. The only question which remains in my mind is why the US government wants the mid-east to be so unstable? We, the USA have fought (and caused) the only two wars in the mid-east in the past two decades...................WTF? Gotta have a link. http://moneycentral.msn.com/content...xtra/P83212.asp Oil hits $40, first time since Gulf War...........................Oil prices hit $40 a barrel for the first time in 13 years on Friday on concerns over global supply security, fostering fears that economic growth could suffer.

Two divergent beginings of the current state of affairs.
1. Sadat assination in 1981 by Islamic Fundlmentalists in Egypt..Alzawari Bin Ladens number 2 was involved. 2. Iran ousting the Shaw by Ayotoal Khameni in 1979. Installing an Islamic government A. Which led the Soviets to invade Afganistan (which was their client state) when the government was overthrown...the USSR feared a general uprising of Muslims in the Southern part of the USSR. B. Which led to a call for Arab fighters to a Jihad against the Soviet infidels.. The USA being in a Cold War with the Soviets aided and abetted the Jihadist in their struggle against the Soviets. C. In 1990 Sadam invaded Kuwait, and the USA responded with troops in the Muslim Holy land ...Bin Laden proposed to use Jihadists to expell Sadam from Kuwait...he was turned down in favor of American involvment..which Bin Laden saw as defilement of Muslim Holy Land.. Thus he turned his hatred against the USA

So as far as "conventional war" the USA has done a good job of mucking things up in the Mid-East, wouldn't you say? When was the big Iraq/Iran war? 1984-1996? The USA has the last two decades of war in the Mid-East in her portfolio for better or for worse, it's a fact.

There has been war in the middle east forever and there always will be. The US has to keep the balance so one country/faction doesn't get an upper hand.
