This was actually big news about 10 months ago. Then normal people started eeeiimrpnntxg with it -- just like we are, here. It didn't take long to find nmrueous eealxpms of words that just aren't rdlaaebe when jumbled, despite the results of the study. Turns out that if you swap a few letters in the middle, without destroying some fundamental structurals of the word, it works pretty well. If you randomly jumble, as was asserted, there are many cases that fail.
