ok guys i need some help since we have all been in this situation and not my 1st time and you'd think i knew better but somehow we all have stepped up in the past and those idea that worked is what i need.

the 911 is clean and running, her birthday is this sunday and i got nuttin happening, left it to the last minute (imagine that!)

I NEED IDEAS!,.................... (all will involve taking the car out of the garage to do it, of course)

i need the ideas that she would like, and keep in mind she took the 2 hr drive with me to german auto fest couple weeks ago and wandered around with me for hours (trooper).

You're in SF...pack a gourmet lunch and drive her up the coast for a nice picnic, then give here a nice sparkling piece of jewelery between glasses of wine (not a gift that'll get you hithced). Going big and flashy has less impact then something the you apparently spent time planning...my current and formers seem to always melt over activities that appeared to have been well though out ... key word "appeared" to be.

my gf has been hinting at wanting a day at the spa.....one of those pamperings that women drooool over. I thought it was too expensive, but then I thought, how easy is that? just buy the thing and that garuntees a full day of 911 driving for me sometime in the near future!!

also if you are good with photo shop, i always take silly pictures of the two of us and filter them to look like cartoons and make a little funny card. literally takes me maybe 30 minutes, but has the LOOK of spending a lot more time. she LOVES it.

If she is an outdoorsy girl Sunset ranch in Burbank has night time horse riding trips...start out in the hollywood hills..ride horses over the hills into burbank...eat food and a mexican restaurant...then cross backover under the stars...the horses are smelly etc...but if she like horse she will love this

hmmm...get her a cake from Sweet Lady Janes on Melrose...call in advance...triple berry...small...honest to god the best cake and the best looking cake on the planet...I have not met a girl that has not LOVED this cake

if you want some culture...make online reservations at the Getty Museum restaurant...go early get dressed up...walk around and look at some art...eat dinner at the museum restaurant...very classy...and then take a small evening stroll and check out the view
