They use them to spread the door jamb away from the deadbolt and then just walk into your crib

This one interested me...I wonder if the smaller P car badge is an original 356 badge...or, perhaps an original early 911 badge? One of those recently went on ebay for 500 bucks...

I saw those badges but didn't mention them in case someone here wanted them.

I missed out on a Garmin GPS for $120 last night.

rick, have you registered and bid on the item you note above?

is the registration process like ebay in that you need to get a user name and file a credit card #?

I did register. No credit card required. I believe you just use it to purchase ther item you have "won". Other than that it's similar to Ebay registration. When it comes to personal info I give work address and cell phone number.

I didn't bid on the abovementioned item as I'm your typical auction sniper. Just got to the puter too late...cold case files had me distracted.

these items are way too expensive for being stolen goods...have you seen the prices of some of these items?

you can find better deals on Ebay, IMHO

That's a cool site. I've often tried looking for genuine aution sites for seized property and repos, etc but never found one till you posted that link. Does anyone know of others? I recently considered trying a site called bid4assets.com. In addition to the normal stuff, they have an "inventory" category where you can lots for pennies on the dollar. Seems like a decent way to make extra cash on eBay. But I am too chicken**** to risk blowing a couple of hundred bucks and ending up stuck with 100 survival shovels or 300 telephones.
