For me Angus Young's hard driving rythms and his unmistakable signiture lead guitar was really the center piece of the band. He could back Barry Manalow's voice and it would still rock. OK maybe that's pushing it. But I think Bonn Scott was the best, there was a lot of wry humor in his delivery, whereas I alway's thought that Brian Johnson was kind of a second rate caricature of the original. Back in Black was a tribute to Scott.

Bon Scott was the man, boy would I have liked to have a drink in a pub with him and Angus.

If you like Bon Scoot, get your hand on the "Let ther be Rock" DVD or VHS, that is what AC/DC was all about. It is f****'n fantastic.

I'm a Brian Johnson fan... Maybe since I grew up with the second era of AC/DC... (BnB was released in 1980 if I'm not mistaken).
Now, Van Halen was never the same after DLR left... |
Bon Scott hands down.
If you don't yet have the AC/DC "Bonfire" box set run, don't walk, to the store :D |
