She says he is caught already, but Bush is just waiting a little longer to announce it to help win the election.

Let's not give any undue credit to the whacko, thios theory has been floating around at least a year. The Dems have been speading this around in case UBL is caught so the can make a good thing look bad.

As for UBL; I hope he doesn't get caught, but rather killed. And to be quite honest if they do capture him only to drag him out to some battlefield and put a staged bullet in him I'm just fine with that.
I think that killed may spark some "revenge" actions, but "in custody" could much larger attacks against innocents to try to leverage his release. Again, if he his already locked up, I'm just fine with it being a secret.

If Osama's been caught (and I think it's possible) and the current administration is waiting to announce it in order to influence the election (and I think that's possible, too), Osama must be d-e-a-d. Otherwise, he'd be more than eager to say when he got caught, especially if it happened some time ago.

Considering we haven't seen any recent (12-18 months) homemade videos of OBL stumbing around some rocky hilltop looking "candid" or spewing hate, I'm starting to think that maybe they "got him": either bombed him into paste, or the Marines have got him in a cage somewhere in Northern Afghanistan.

Surely if they hadn't, he'd be appearing on new tapes all the time...

You know, it seems to me that, if OBL is captured, and if he is tried and found guilty, and if the penalty is death, an appropriate execution style is in order to insure against his "martyr" status. Rather than merely a simple lethal injection, something unconstitutionally cruel and unusual is in order -- like dousing him in pig's blood mere instants before his death, thus ensuring that (according to his own beliefs) he does not enter heaven.

That would set the example: You want to lead like this man did? You seek the same reward he did? We understand your desires and motivations, and we know how to take them from you.

I know it will never happen, but it's a nice (in a totally sick perverse way) thought.

I think Theresa Heinz Kerry may just be OBL. Imagine OBL with a little less facial hair, a little worse accent, a little more money, a little less femininity, a little more radical, wearing the same clothes (they already do).
I suspect they both support Kerry equally.
