Ever since GWB got his ass handed to him in the first debate, the Right Wing NeoCon blog machine has punched shifted into overdrive, the detritus of which floods the BBS's. It's not just here - other boards in which I participate are full of the same shrill "look at Kerry's skin color/makeup/fingernails" like a bunch of hairdressers after a disappointing episode of 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." I don't know where the central source for these literary gems is, but it's almost word-for-word identical anywhere you go.

It's great, mine is set to go off whenever anyone touches the thermostadt, but also whenever there's a juicy new piece of anti-leftie propaganda.

I saw the "ass handed to him" quote in all the left wing columns. As well as the "deer in the headlights" and "Karl Rove one liners" quotes.

It's all rhetoric tying to make the other guy look bad rather than dealing with the specifics of each argument.

The next guy to change his vote based on what is posted here will be the first.

Personally I didn't think he did that badly and I'm a Kerry supporter. I thought it was well rounded really - they both conducted themselves well. Kerry of course is a better public speaker but he's a freaking prosecutor - he HAS TO BE A GOOD PERSUADER. Bush isn't like that and I think it can be seen as a handicap if you don't take things like THE FACTS into consideration.

I don't think he's the worst president ever but again I don't approve of the direction his administration has taken. It is unfortunate that there isn't someone I can vote for with a clear conscience.

I couldn't care less how he looks, as long as he follows long term goals which serve this country.....but I doubt that.

Rush Limbaugh and the other right-wing assclowns get their talking points from the RNC every week, from there it is just a matter of (almost instantaneous) dissemination to the "dittoheads" and posting on internet boards.

It is the right-wing's genius in getting their message out in the world, and I mean this with all seriousness and grudging respect. Their message is anything but brilliant, but the spreading of it is for sure. :cool:
