Please RSVP either to myself or to Rich Andrade

Hope to see all of you AS WELL AS some new faces!

ALL PCars WELCOMED!

Thanks so much!

New Info Update -

Most likely, lunch will be held at the Asylum rest at the Grand Hotel - For the sole reason to accomodate parking for the group. Afterwards, we can walk down to the Rythm room or so forth. A little bit of a walk but we can have one person running a porsche shuttle to retrieve cars and what nots.

Again, this is not restrictred to 928's. ALL P-cars are welcomed.

Thanks so much!

There is a guy on this board going by the name of Iggy, his black 928(S) has been spotted in Ann Arbor a few times by myself. His plate says something like "SHARK" or sharky.

How did the 928 get the nickname "Shark"?

Is that it's nickname or is there another reference?

All 928's are nick named shark. From the minor resemblance to that of a great white shark.

Iggy AKA Big Dave is going through some engine repairs at this moment.

He's a regular on the Rennlist 928 Board.

I knew having all those hot young women around his car at the Woodward Dream Cruise would only lead to trouble- the car must of got jealous.

My car goes in for A/C work on Tuesday...should be out the same day.

Barring any unforseen disasters, we're "in". D67, you should cross-post this to the 911 board...

I should be able to show up too, although I will wait for you on the corner of 60 and lake pleasant road (coming from FAR westside). White 911s, black bra (the car, not me!) Several weeks ago the speed was policed heavily up yarnell hill, so be careful. I would like to trade cell numbers in case of problems too.
Thanks, should be fun!

Excellent!

I'll drop everyone a line in the middle of the week for the final itinerary.

To bring everyone up to speed.

Meeting: Exotic MotorWerks
52nd and Thomas (South East Corner behind Scotts. Muffler)
Phoenix
Shop Opens at 900Am for Coffe, Donuts, Juice. (Compliments of Exotic MotorWerks)
10:00 Am - Depart Exotic

Route: Through Wickenberg, Prescott Valley and into Jerome: Damn if I cannot remember the route #?. ?????

Once in Jerome I thought we would have lunch at the Asylum (Grand Hotel Rest.) -or the restaurant of your choosing-. Being that parking is tight, I thought the Asylum would accomodate our parking concerns. I have never dined at this Rest, so I cannot say for sure how good it is. I still need to contact them to verify they can have our group. BTW - I'm also open for suggestions.

Also, If Possible, I like to have the parties interested in going, drop me a line so I can get a head count for the breakfast in the morning!.

Open to all Porsche Types:

Hosts: Az 928 Desert Sharks & Exotic MotorWerks

Thanks!

Drew

Last saturday i was buzzing into work on the I17 and noticed I was being followed by some souped up 928/944 with roll cages, sponsor signs, etc. Only caught the color of two of them as I was pretty busy myself dodging traffic. One car was red, and the other yellow. Wonder who they were as they were making good speed to have caught me (smile).

D67,
I'd like to join you guys in Jerome or even better, in the Prescott area. I know of at least one other (has an '86 911) that is also up for Jerome on Sunday.
Thanks.

Nice driving with you guys. D67, at the pace we were going on the I17 heading home I was afraid we'd go back in time. Speedo was pinned!!!

How many cars showed up at the secondary meeting spot? Did Mick take care of my 914?

It was a pleasure meeting all the new faces - Yes we were moving on the way home. Following Rich's lead with the Laser Detector - I felt pretty comfortable.

Slow in the Twisties HUH?. I thought Mick was the slow one?. LOL & JK

Again, it was great to have all the new faces - We'll have to do it again - SOON!

As soon as Tom Edits the Video - He's going to make an October 3rd Fun Drive DVD available to everyone who went on the trip. He made it a point to capture VIDEOS of everyone's (who drove up from Exotic) car in motion - Neat Stuff

When its ready - we'll have to have a Happy Hour Party.

1 - 928

Mick did well except his Oil Temp was Pegged up through the mountian. Time for an external air duct. SWEET 914 though. Damn SWEET.

Yep, my timing belt slipped off and I'm the process of rebuilding. On the bright side, it gives me all the time I need to powder coat and detail the engine bay back to showroom condition.

LOL @ the jealousy thing.
