Spot the previous 930 owner! Must see.

So I'm over at my buddies new house taking a few pics of his 930 to help him sell it (like I said, new house). Anyway, when I snapped this one I saw what I saw(more obvious then) and was taken aback. I wondered if it would come out in the photo and it did. Can you see the guy behind the wheel?!???!!!

Does the car have a salvage history?

Jason Porter 10-13-2004 08:13 AM

Darth Vader?

AHH, IC; I caugh that for what it actually was first so I didn't see the face until I looked again.

I think I see the Virgin Mary.

No salvage history I'm aware of. I just thought this was funny, I don't think it's a ghost or anything just for those questioning my sanity:)

I don't suggest pointing that out, built in ghost is not an option that I find attractive when purchasing a vehicle.

LOL maybe he's a friendly ghost? Kinda like a guardian angel. Now try to put a price on that!

Especially a vehicle to be driven fast!!

For technical purposes: Does a ghost add weight?

lendaddy 10-13-2004 09:18 AM

Given the fact that most ghosts appear to "float" one can only assume that he will decrease the measured curb weight. Just how much is a bit of a mystery, I would guess 25-50 lbs. Not to mention the obvious navigation skills! The guy could be shouting out breaking points and turn numbers during a race! The possiblities are endless.

OK,

Due to your concerns I have spoken with the ghost (hereby Alvin, cause that's his name) and he assures me that the future owner will not be harmed in any way. He simply enjoys riding in the 930 and hence does refuse to leave. He seemed personable enough to me and I would not hesitate to buy this car per his presence. Alvin says he's not really a "race car guy" (his words) and one should not expect him to aid you immediately in racing situation though he is not afraid to learn as he has nothing but time on his hands. He was a little upset when I asked about his weight (is this a big issue for ghosts?) but did finally claim somewhere between -40 and -60lbs though it had been decades since he checked. If you guys have any other questions I'm sure Alvin would be happy to answer them.

I wonder if the P.O. killed was beaten to death with an Ugly stick? sure looks like it.
Either that or Ghost/spirits are just plain OOH-GLAY!

lendaddy 10-13-2004 10:48 AM

I think he looks like an older Brando myself.

What's Bruce Anderson say that does to the value?
