Here's a repost from my slashdot journal...

I read the full lawsuit paperwork and all of that... I highly doubt it. If you look at the factual history of her employment. Asking for more money or she's going to work for CNN, so they give her more money. Then she gets a higher paying job at CNN which she hates, so she asked to come back to fox--and make more than she did at CNN.

From the Fox Lawsuit:

Quote:

Prior to September 29, 2004, Mackris never complained to anyone in authority at Fox about sexual harassment by O’Reilly, despite having received and being well aware of the clearly written harassment prevention policies and procedures of Fox and its ultimate parent, The News Corporation Limited (“News Corp”)
Why didn't she bring it up before? Why'd she ask to come back to Fox?

I don't like O'Reilly much, I think he's too soft in a lot of areas. He talks tough about holding a tough debate, but he gets walked on all the time. But, i don't think he'd put himself in that kind of situation.

Of course, I thought Rush wouldn't put himself in the situation of being a drug addict either, so I could be wrong.

I wonder if he told her to SHUT UP!

anybody see O'Reilly on the Daily Show. He claims he's an undecided voter, can't make up his mind.

I think he was pandering to the smarter audience.

you can see it at

I can' t believe she would leave a job where she was being harassed, only to come back to that same job. What an idiot!

I read a little of it, does seem like it's from the mind/mouth of a guy, but is it O'Reilly's mind/mouth?

The court of public opinion has been awaken, and we want blood (as usual).;)

There are words in Playboy?
