What sort of MG is this?

I'm pretty sure it said MG-A on it somewhere, but can anyone more knowlegdeable fill in more details? I shot these at the SVRA event at VIR today.

I love this car, I want one!

MK 2 Twin Cam.

MGA, but it's definitely special. Wish I had more info. They are beautiful cars. I have actually considered selling my 911SC and going back to an MGB. I'm just not sure if I can handle the huge downgrade in engineering, power, brakes, and hanlding. Wish 356s weren't so expensive...

If you buy a MGA I have a rebuilt 1622 engine in my garage if you need one

Steve, the list might be shorter of parts you _don't_ have... ;)

I believe that is just a normal A with the windshiled cut down and then an aero hump added (I forgot what those are called) I love British cars...for some reason.

Well James your right I got a call today from a guy that someone had give him my #. He was looking for a Hanomag F-35 Windsheild. Well I made his day as I have one. He had been looking for one for quite a while.

If my aging brain cells are not totally defunct, I recall that the Twin Cam MGA had knock off disc wheels.[This knowledge is not exactly 'first hand' but I used to race against one,a coupe,
in club events about 40 years ago! I ran a Sunbeam AlpineIV]

It's a later MGA.

Grille bars go sideways like the MKII 1600
Larger taillamps like the 60- on?
Front bumper removed like the Sebring Cars
Hood louvers aren't original
Leather straps to hold hood like Sebring Cars
Stock windshield, header removed
Aftermarket mirrors
Aero bulge after the driver
"B" steering wheel

If it were an original Twincam it would never have been cut like this, I'm guessing it's a heavily modified 1600MKII, with a different motor maybe because of the louvers?

John Cramer is correct. A later MGA. Not a twin cam.
