John Kerry Interview with RollingStone
Hes the real deal, people, the real deal:
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/_/id/6562106 excerpt: Who are your favorite rock & roll artists? Oh, gosh. I'm, you know, a huge Rolling Stones fan; Beatles fan. One of the most cherished photographs in my life is a picture of me with John Lennon -- who I met back in 1971 at an anti-war rally. But I love a lot of different performers. That rules. |
Still living in Viet Nam; would someone inform J-boy that the war ended years ago? He seems to be in a Purple Haze.
I thought it was kind of odd when Clinton tried to pass himself off as hip and young, but he pulled it off to an extent. Kerry trying to do the same? Plain pathetic. |
Kerry was actually young in the 60's and 70's. To be a Republican back then on campus, Bush might as well have been wearing a beanie w/ a propeller on it. :D

Errrr…. So he’s trying to pass himself off as ‘hip & young’ by saying ”Oh, gosh. I'm, you know, a huge Rolling Stones fan; Beatles fan” ??? Yeah, everyone knows that’s what the kids are listening to these days. I also hear that gosh is making a comeback  Pretty much sounds like everyone else that I know in their 50’s. |
Man - if you don't like the stones and don't like the beatles you're just not british.
|
Maybe he said he likes the Beatles because he thought they were French?
|
He should be in Sports Illustrated -
JK talks like the ultimate monday morning QB, " I will do better.." It is still Sunday. ( he has overwhelming support among the soccer fans) |

not enough resolution. it was a blur. thank you for the effort though
|
I dont get it, In the 70's, everybody was anti-war, those were the 70's.
Whats wrong with it ? |
Ummm, no. Everybody was not anti-war - that's a myth propagated by the media to this day. I grew up in the 70's. I still remember us laughing at classmates running around with army jackets and long hair - it was a fad. Just like getting a tattoo or piercing is today. There was no deep belief from these people other than they were scared *****less of getting drafted. And I wasn't involved or interested in politics back then - just wanted to make sure my skiis were tuned and I had a 6-pack of beer buried in the snow for apres-ski ..... ah, the good ol' days! :D
