cliff. |
oh, dont say "drink more booze", i'll get fired. haha
|
Too late, Cliff. Before bed 600 mg Ibuprofen and a quart of water helps a ton, but at this point you should probably forget it.
Where did you go in the city? |

I have found water and salt help some after the fact as well. |
Just think of eating a huge jar of mayonnaise.

Drink some Gatorade or something that will help get you hydrated. It will go away by the end of the day. Then you can go out and do it all over again tonight :D |
Mmmm ... how about that mayonnaise smothered all over a juicy piece of pork!
Hurlin yet - that's your only salvation at this point. |

we ate in the north beach area, nice italian dinner, then hit the neighborhood bars, and followed up with the neighborhood "visual stimulation". i knew we were in trouble when a buddy was yelling at the ATM machine because he hit his $300 dollar daily withdrawal. thank god for public transportation. my new motto: "what a waste of wood" |
OJ and gatoraid.....you need to rehydrate yourself......and you're vitimins

I've practiced this "ritual" for years and it almost never failed. Another thing that went along with this was to drink a glass of water with each beer. Fights off the dehydration which accompanies over-drinking and is (from my understanding) the main cause of the headache that comes with being over-hung...I mean hung over! :D Randy |
Well, it's been a long time since I was in fighting shape, but I remember three things:
1) Hydration. Your brain has dried out. Drink water. 2) Nausea. Your stomach is empty, or full of chartreuse bile. No matter how difficult, EAT something, and follow it up with some antacid. 3) Pain. Heed Dr. Moses: 600mg of IB should do it. Good luck! There is no way out but through. |
I've found that a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) works wonders...Prevacid, Prilosec, etc....

Excedrin is the best hangover medicine I've used--the painkiller/caffiene does wonders.
|
I'm partial to dilaudid.
|
Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all down...
Rehydrate - Gatorade Pain Killers - Dealers choice. I always like Excedrin for headaches Caffine - Got to jump start the brain Vitamins - you lost a bunch in the drinking Food - you cannot do the above on an empty stomach, go bland, bagels, bread, crackers, toast, english muffins |
B-complex the night of drinking. Lots of water before bed. If you missed out on that-2 Excederin washed down by some bitters in carbonated water. You'll be sound as a pound in no time. Word of caution-Acetaminophen can be bad with alcohol. It can mess with your liver so use at your own risk.

Remember Vanquish? That was great stuff. Don't know if they still make it. Edit- looked it up. Vanquish and Excedrin are the same basic stuff. Tylenol, aspinin and caffeine. |
Glad I don't get hangovers anymore, ( dry for 7 years) & any suggestions I could make would also get you fired. Worse thing I ever tried was Demerol.http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...s/pukeface.gif
