Very nice.

Nice to see something the partisan bloggers can't demean...

The only thing the WW2 generation did that was wrong was to SPOIL their children....The Baby Boom Generation are a whining self asorbed group of malcontents....

I agree a big thank you to all presently serving. I know we have a number of vets on this board. Let's see some pictures. I'll start:

In this one I am the guy in the middle, standing, smoking the cigar:

In this one, a few years later, I'm the guy bent over wearing the hat having a heart to heart with one of my trainees. They listen quite well when they are in the front leaning rest:

KURT: AWESOME! Where and when are those from?

I was fairly proud last week. The "feature article" on Military.com was the actual letters written by my Grandfather to his parents and My Grandmother from Stalag Luft III in 1944. You can still look but you have register on the site. Gets me all choked up.

Thanks to all who have served and are still doing so.

Happy B-day Marines.

Here's my Devil Dog (USMC) little bro doing his thang in Thailand a while back:

Get some!

Thanks to all that have served, and those who continue to serve.

Pic of Me stopping for a breather when I was trying to dig a blackhawk out of a snowbank behind enemy lines...ok, I wasn't behind enemy lines. Up near Sun Valley, Idaho.

Stanley steamer on bunk...

Thanks to the others who served, especially those who did so under tougher conditions!
