Palm OS

You are Palm OS. Punctual, straightforward and very useful. Your mother wants you to do more with your life like your cousin Wince, but you're happy with who you are.

Amusing, as Slackware was the second Linux distro I ever installed. The first was....wait for it.... SLS on floppies.

It says you're into herding gnu, or something like that...

BlueSkyJaunte 10-25-2004 12:53 PM

http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd.html

It's basically been trying to be Linux since around the time Linux started making it's way out into the wild.

The fact that you've never heard (hurd?) of it tells you how successful it's been.

Are you sure? This is what I got:

http://www.americazoo.com/goto/index...nimals/400.jpg

The Name "Gnu": "Gnu" comes from the southern African Kaffir word "nqu." "Wildebeest" is the Afrikaans (South African Dutch) word for "wild animal."
