Look at some of the comments from our friends from the party of tolerance throughout this thread:

That's why the Bushies lost the ammo? To prove the liberals wrong? You guys are incapable of admitting anything, aren't you? Babies

Wow, too bad the US doesn't have the technology to track truck convoys in the cloudless desert then.

ya, no big deal. How many semiloads worth? Here boys...let me help you kill more of our soldiers.

Ya bush lovers have your heads so far up your collective asses that you all can't even see a simple case of incompetance for what it is.

The truth is that the republicans have been very busy. Defending incompetence is a full time job.

You got lo love when a bush administration lie is dispatched with the facts.

You guys sure will stoop to any inane supposition to try to deny the facts.

So, are you implying that the US has equipment which can track all vehicular traffic in a country the size of California at the same time? Equipment that can monitor 10,000 + sites, all at once? Is this what you are saying?

bryanthompson 10-26-2004 06:14 PM

i should've posted their names too so I didn't get confused with that crap.

They had reporters WITH our troops during the liberation and witnessed the empty buildings for christ's sake ...... It must have took an EXTRAORDINARY effort on their part to refute the NYTimes/CNN story! What more needs to be said? This story has Dan Rather's fingerprints all over it! :D

Here's the video clip for doubting hysterical Libs:

AR: Was there a search at all underway or did a search ensue for explosives once you got there during that 24-hour period?

LLJ: No. There wasn't a search. The mission that the brigade had was to get to Baghdad. That was more of a pit stop there for us. And, you know, the searching, I mean certainly some of the soldiers head off on their own, looked through the bunkers just to look at the vast amount of ordnance lying around. But as far as we could tell, there was no move to secure the weapons, nothing to keep looters away. But there was - at that point the roads were shut off. So it would have been very difficult, I believe, for the looters to get there.
Kind of hard to know whats there without a search, right?

If you watch the original NBC broacast even though it states that embedded reporters were in the 101st its statements about what weapons were found are followed by "pentagon official claim"

As the following story shows what the embedded reporter claims is far different from what the pentagon claimed.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6323933/

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS...c.ap/index.html

http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=199532

I guess the bush lovers will soon try to claim that no weapons being found was not a lie since no search was made either.

bryanthompson 10-26-2004 06:20 PM

So, wait, are you people upset that we didn't search for weapons that weren't there, or are you upset that we didn't get there earlier, or are you upset that Condi supposedly didn't know about this non-event at the time?

Just trying to get your lunatic ravings in order.

lendaddy 10-26-2004 06:37 PM

I hope this bites Kerry in the ass, he's opened his yap too much on this already and with such conviction. I think they spent their wad early. When this gets proved another media scam it should backfire. Joe Average may say "Fukk it, I can't get behind these underhanded bastards" or "damn, another one of these made up stories? Maybe the other crap on Bush is a lie too"

I wonder if Rather is aware of how much he helped Bush, ya know.

Well this lunatic wants to know this...why are you guys ignoring this?:

Why did the white house press secretary say that WE JUST FOUND OUT OCTOBER 15TH?

MR. McCLELLAN: Maybe the best way to do this is kind of walk you through how we came to be informed about this. The Iraqi Interim Government informed -- told the IAEA -- the International Atomic Energy Agency on October 10th that there were approximately 350 tons of high explosives missing from Al Qaqaa in Iraq. And they informed the IAEA because these munitions were subject to IAEA monitoring, because they were considered dual-use materials. And the International Atomic Energy Agency informed the United States mission in Vienna on October 15th about these -- this cache of explosives that was missing because of some looting that went on in Iraq toward the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom, or during and toward the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Q When did the President find out?

MR. McCLELLAN: That's why I said, we were informed on October 15th. Condi Rice was informed days after that. This is all in the last, what, 10 days now.

Q She was informed days after October 15th?

MR. McCLELLAN: Yes, and she informed the President. And the first priority, from our standpoint, was to make sure that this wasn't a nuclear proliferation risk, which it is not. These are conventional high explosives that we are talking about. And the President wants to make sure that we get to the bottom of this. Now, the Pentagon, upon learning of this, directed the multinational forces and the Iraqi survey group to look into this matter, and that's what they are currently doing.

The lunacy only involves the fact that you all can't realize that the above insanity comes directly from your favorite regime.

bryanthompson 10-26-2004 07:07 PM

I don't see why it's such a big deal that the President or Condi didn't know about this singluar event when weapons were moved before we got to them. It's not like they could have done anything about it. We got there, they were already gone. Crying over spilled milk and all of that. except that the milk was already spilled when we got there.

I don't see you being all upset about WMD that everyone thought was there all of a sudden being gone before we got there. where's your outrage about that?

cool_chick 10-26-2004 07:10 PM

Because it makes no sense to me. This new "revelation" that is really "old news?" Seems weird to me that the white house would make statements like this if "everyone knew" back then.

makes no sense. i wonder about the validity of this new information BECAUSE of the white house statements.

lendaddy 10-26-2004 07:12 PM

This is silly, we're playing into their hands by even discussing it. That's exactly what they want, this to be news iregardless that it's false. They're hoping undecideds will only here the fictional story not the factual rebuttal. Sad old dirty trick. I'm done with it, unless something new comes out.

project management, work on finding solutions......IT field.

Why?

red-beard 10-26-2004 07:58 PM

Do you have direct reports? Do you delegate work to others? Do you understand _every_ nuance on each project under you? Do you know each line of code that has been written?

bryanthompson 10-26-2004 08:01 PM

I thought you had to be logical and open-minded for that job...?

juuust kiddin, kool_aid.

cool_chick 10-26-2004 08:04 PM

The IAEA told about this site and others to the administration.

I do know that they have people in the white house that monitor the media.

So if it wasn't reported to the powers that be back when this NBC reporter was there (and reported it) that these were missing, then something needs to be done so that the powers that be know what's going on, especially in times of war, wouldn't you think?

Or is this minor and doesn't need to be reported to people of position?

But, you do have a good point.

Beethoven 10-26-2004 08:06 PM

cool chick,
forget about it. You still seem to entertain illusions that there is anything, anything in the world, that would make these people doubt their leader. Everybody sees that this war is a botched-up job (incidentally, I was for it to begin with). Intelligence is defined as the ability to make decisions according to changing parameters, and Bush, or rather the people who tell him what to do and say, are not willing to do that. They think this war has been prosecuted without a mistake.
It's a cult.
Are you really a cool chick?
